PS5 on LG CX ARC / eARC Only outputting stereo
Update: I was able to force surround out by setting the audio output on the PS5 to Bitstream Dolby, setting the HDMI Input audio format to Bitstream in the Additional Settings in the LG CX, I also turned off eARC during this process. I also set the HDMI Debice type in the PS5 to AV Amplifier and number of channels to 7.1. Now even if I change the audio format to PCM in the PS5 my receiver is still reporting all speakers in use and format as PCM. I restarted the PS5 to make sure this doesnt reset if I turn the console off and it switched back to full surround when the PS5 came back up after restart.
